What This Covers
This policy explains how walkstrat.pro and walkstrat.online (the "Site") use cookies and similar technologies.
The WalkStrat desktop application does not use cookies. It is not a web application and does not browse the internet. It stores its settings and results as ordinary files on the user's own computer. Its built-in screens keep a few display preferences in local storage on the same computer; they are never sent anywhere. This policy concerns the website only — what the Software does with data is covered by the Privacy Policy.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in the browser. Cookies let a site remember things between pages and visits — that a visitor is signed in, for example.
Some are necessary for a site to work. Others are optional, and exist to measure how the site is used.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies and Storage
These are required for the Site to function. They cannot be switched off, and no consent is required for them under EU rules.

2. Browser Storage
Besides cookies, a site can keep small amounts of data in the browser's own storage. The Site uses it only for what it needs to work:
- Local storage keeps the sign-in session (see above).
- Session storage briefly holds a purchase in progress while the checkout opens. It is cleared when the browser tab is closed.
The Site stores no display preferences, and nothing in browser storage is used for tracking.
3. Analytics
The Site uses privacy-friendly analytics that set no cookies and collect no personal data. Visits are counted without identifying anyone, nothing is stored on your device, and no consent is required.
4. Advertising Cookies
None. The Site carries no advertising and sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or share browsing data.
Managing Cookies
The Site itself sets only what it needs to work, so there is nothing optional to accept or decline and no cookie banner to dismiss.
All major browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted through their settings. Note that blocking the browser storage listed above will prevent signing in.
